Just a few days before Christmas, Mayor John Wakefield from Waverley Council presented 10 nipper boards to eight Surf Life Saving Clubs in the Eastern Suburbs on behalf of Hurricane's Grill Restaurants.
For an hour or so, Hurricane's Grill Bondi Beach looked more like a surf board shop than a restaurant.
The following surf clubs were presented with Mango Racing boards:
- Bondi Surf Bathers' Surf Life Saving Club
- Bronte Surf Life Saving Club
- Clovelly Surf Life Saving Club
- Coogee Surf Life Saving Club
- Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club
- North Bondi Surf Life Saving Club
- South Maroubra Surf Life Saving Club
- Tamarama Surf Life Saving Club
